Our Story

It all started with two neighbours, Darren and Dave, swapping notes over backyard American-style BBQ. One casual chat turned into a “what if?” moment — and before long, Smashies was on the grill.

With Dave leading the charge and our first burger truck ready to roll, we put our creations to the ultimate test: friends and family. The verdict? Juicy success. Smashies was officially born.

Our mantra is simple: “simply smashing burgers.” Inspired by the no-nonsense spirit of American BBQ, we keep it real — fresh, local beef, soft local buns, and burgers smashed to perfection. Because good food doesn’t need to be complicated, it just needs to be delicious.
